V Jeruzalemske Restaurant is perfectly named because that is exactly where it is located on the street of the same name a lovely short stroll from the heart of Wenceslas Square.
What you will find at this place is a medium sized and friendly eatery - they have space for just about fifty people at maximum - so expect friendly and personable service in a lovely atmosphere. The value to be had here is very good too with reasonable prices all day long especially considering its proximity to the centre of the city.

 

They do a number of menus at V Jeruzalemske and depending on the time of day you arrive at and what day of the week it is you can decide accordingly. Standing out for good value is its weekday Lunchtime Menu when you can afford of some delicious meals at in or around just 5 euro, or 6 dollars. Lookout for a delicious Soup Starter followed by a selection from their Main Courses of which there are usually at least four to choose from. This offer runs from 11am till 3pm weekdays. The Main a la Carte is wholly different offering a tremendous number of Hot and Cold Starters, Soups, Pastas and Risottos.Meat eaters can choose from some delicious Fish choices, Chicken meals, Pork, and even Beef. Those who would like to try out a classic dish straight out of traditional Czech cuisine will discover a lovely list of choices.

 

V Jeruzalemske Restaurant is without doubt a pleasant and relaxing place and a great discovery for those who would like to stay close to the centre of town for one reason or another. The furniture is comfortable and very neatly spaced to allow a nice privacy between tables. An additional 20 persons can accommodated in their delightful little salon and if you wished to avail of this for a private event of some kind, they will be delighted to facilitate you. At any time of day one may also just pop in and sample one of the many outstanding Wines they carry here. Their list is long and full of many national and international choices.

 

V Jeruzalemske Restaurant open the same trustworthy hours every day those being from 11 in the morning till 11.30 at night. Jindrisska is the name of the tram stop which is almost right outside their premises but just far enough away to be not noticed once inside their doors. Further up the same street is the stunning 100 year old Jewish Synagogue which is one of the great homes of the Jewish faith in the city. Still used today, its stunning combination of Arabesque and European architecture is wonderful to admire and few can resist taking a few photographs of this magnificent edifice.
