Starsano Restaurant is a welcome addition to the dining options to be had in Prague. It sets out as its philosophy to serve up healthy and fresh dishes created from the best of natural ingredients.
The restaurant is certainly Italian in outlook and style and one of its leading dishes is pasta from which it has an amazing sixty different types. The restaurant is one of the very newest in the city having opened for business for the first time in January 2011. It takes its interesting name from an old Italian language expression which means 'to feel good by being healthy'. The cuisine at Starsano Restaurant should lead you, at least in as much as good food can assist you, towards that goal.

 

Opening as they do quite early in the morning as opposed to the majority of restaurants which don't get going till almost noon time Starsano Restaurant can be a lovely place to pop into for a light or a full breakfast which they serve right up till 11am when the Lunch Time crowd begins to slowly fill the place up. Czech people do take early lunches. For lunchtime dining and for evening too a quick perusal of the menu shows just how healthy and enjoyable the food is here. Soups like Minestrone and numerous Salads begin the Menu card followed by Pastas as diverse as Aglio e Olio, Gorgonzola, and Arrabbiata which are just delicious. Additionally look out for their superb Pizzas - 33cm - which contain many meaty and meatless possibilities. It all depends on you. Pizza and Pasta apart Starsano Restaurant does a broad number of Fish dishes and other Grilled meats like Pork which have many Side Orders to accompany them.

 

The big, bright interior of Starsano Restaurant is a really welcoming sight where light and relaxing colours and furnishings immediately put you in a nice frame of mind. The staff are informed and courteous and will advise you on the taste or type of any dish which interests you. Important to note here is that the style is self-service to a degree. Walk along the line with your tray and ask the chefs and servers for the dish that you want. It all works extremely efficiently and without any fuss. As for drinks and other additions to your tray, you just help yourself and pay at the cash counter before finding a seat and table which you like. No smoking of course is the rule.

 

Starsano Restaurant is located equidistance from the well-known metro stations and tram stops of IP Pavlova
and Namesti Miru right nearby the impressive St Ludmila Church. The leafy and pleasant residential street to look for is called Anglicka St at number 13. They are open Monday to Friday from 8.30am till 10pm. Saturdays from 11am till 8pm. Sundays they are closed. By virtue of the fact that they have a neat little childrens play area, as well as high-backed childrens seats it should be a comfort to bring your little ones along with you also.
